Improvements
- This is a major under-the-hood update. We upgraded core app frameworks — Expo (52 → 55), Tamagui (v1 → v2), Next.js (14 → 16), and React (to 19.2). This moves us to modern, better-supported foundations and should improve overall reliability and performance. Because so much shifted beneath the surface, there may still be visual or behavioral quirks we haven’t caught yet. If you spot anything off (layout glitches, odd interactions, broken buttons, etc.), please report it. ## New Features
- Parental Lock — Added a Parental Lock feature in Safety Settings, allowing parents to lock current safety settings with a 4-digit PIN.
- Content sharing — You can now share AI Dungeon content links natively on web and mobile (share sheet on mobile, clipboard flow on web).
- Placeholder overhaul — Scenario placeholders now include back/next controls, step counters, smoother animations, and Character Creator support. ## Improvements
- Search results now stay visible while filters refresh.
- Card hover underline now works more reliably. ## Bug Fixes
- Fixed Enter key submitting instead of inserting a newline on mobile and native app.
- Fixed rapid-click navigation stacking in Recently Played.
- Fixed black bar appearing at the top of the mobile banner gradient.
- Fixed Android mobile web showing the password keyboard on one-line inputs.
- Fixed draft visibility toggling for published scenarios.
- Fixed image caching on mobile not showing new covers after replacement
- Fixed Edit Profile showing the old profile image after uploading a new one.
- Fixed adventure last played timestamp not updating.
- Fixed scenario image reverting on Safari iOS.
- Fixed mobile story edit keyboard positioning and clipping.
- Fixed mobile web overlay spacer on adventure and scenario pages.
- Fixed cover images 404-ing after replacement by deferring CDN deletion.
- Fixed Do/Say action edit text not wrapping, causing it to display as a single clipped line that extended off-screen.
- Fixed Author's Note and Plot Essentials deletions not persisting.
- Fixed additional mobile web layout issues, including orientation-related card layout problems and details-page cover fade seams.
- Fixed an iOS crash when opening external-link notifications.
- Fixed a crash when adding Story Summary in the scenario editor.
- Fixed profile trash/delete scroll-jump behavior.
- Fixed memory-detail close behavior that could incorrectly dismiss Explore memories.
- Improved homepage/carousel loading transitions and overlay fade behavior on mobile.
- Fixed notification host/deep-link handling across web/mobile to reduce platform-specific errors.
- Fixed AI version defaulting behavior so models don’t auto-switch while user settings are still loading.
