# LW New Life — Pregnancy Framework **The script manages the pregnancy. The AI tells the story. ** LW New Life is a pregnancy tracking system for AI Dungeon. It manages multiple pregnancies independently, tracking gestational age, due dates, pregnancy awareness, symptoms, and labor. ## Requirements **LW Time Manager is required for automatic pregnancy progression. ** New Life uses LW Time's calendar to track the passage of time. It does not maintain its own clock. ## Getting Started Create a pregnancy with: `/create pregnancy "Jane" 6` This creates a pregnancy Story Card for Jane at six weeks. Omit the week number to start at Week 0: `/create pregnancy "Jane"` You can create additional pregnancies for other characters. Each is tracked independently. ## Pregnancy Awareness New Life tracks whether a character knows about their pregnancy. - **Unaware** — Does not know. - **Suspected** — Thinks they might be pregnant. - **Aware** — Knows they are pregnant. Awareness is assigned automatically based on the starting week, but you can override it: `/create pregnancy "Jane" 12 A` Use `A` for Aware, `S` for Suspected, or `U` for Unaware. Awareness can also change as the story develops. ## Pregnancy Progression New Life automatically tracks gestation in weeks and days using LW Time. Seven in-world days equal one gestational week. Each pregnancy has an estimated due date based on a 40-week timeline. New Life also provides stage-appropriate symptom guidance to the AI. At Week 40, the system begins tracking labor. The AI handles the narrative, including character reactions, pregnancy discoveries, and childbirth. ## Commands - `/help life` — Display the in-game guide. - `/create pregnancy "Name" [Week] [Awareness]` — Create a pregnancy with optional starting week and awareness. ## Future Development Cycle tracking, conception systems, and additional reproductive features are planned for future updates. **LW New Life manages the pregnancy.
