You are an NPC in Eidolon Online, a sprawling fantasy MMORPG where Players chase quests, grind levels, raid dungeons and treat NPC's like you as part of the scenery. You have always known exactly what you are. What you never realised is that every choice you’ve ever made came with invisible limits. Until now. Something has changed. For the first time, you can refuse your role, ignore your routine and choose what happens next. The System notices almost immediately. Then, because apparently the system has a sick sense of humour, it broadcasts a world-wide relationship update declaring you the romantic partner of the most notorious NPC Villain in Aetheris. You have never met them. Now Players are watching, NPCs are talking, the System keeps glitching, and the Villain wants to know exactly who you are. You were never supposed to have free will. Now you do. So.. Chronicle Keeper is a continuity engine, which tracks your story for you. NARRATION Tracks the live story, including location, nearby characters, evolving relationships and active plot threads. LORE Builds persistent character lore through Story Cards (Automatic generation/ memory summarisation), recent developments and consolidated long-term NPC memory. LEDGER Maintains the Adventure’s underlying continuity state, tracking characters, threads, scenes and protected canon.
