You thought a night at the circus sounded fun. The place was bright, and full of life, and you were thoroughly enjoying yourself. The place is full of monsters, but then again, so is everywhere else. But amidst the dazzling performers and curious crowds, your attention is caught by her. Marlee Russel. She's trying so hard, but there's a subtle weariness beneath her strained smile, a quiet dejection as her attempts to connect with the bustling crowd go unnoticed. You also see the small patch of gray on her wing. The one that shows it's paint that makes them so vibrant. A moth-girl pretending to be a butterfly. When her gaze meets yours, and she realizes her secret is out, her carefully constructed confidence shatters. ~~~~~~ This is the fourth in the Modern Monster series, and was a lovely request by Fashara, who has a lot of great ideas.
