Escaping the Evermore
Guaranteed death after 61 actions. You wake in the Evermore space station--no memory. Every move deteriorates its systems and makes hostile alien lifeforms more aggressive. Obviously inspired by the Alien movies. Hitting retry counts as a player action, so retry sparingly. Dynamic Large recommended. Harbinger, Wayfarer Small 2 and Muse all do pretty well too. Good luck. ***** Scripts are fun. You're good to go, if you want to skip my babbling, but read on if you want to know what's going on. From time to time, the ship integrity and alien threat will pop up in your output, letting you know how bad things are. At 0% station integrity, it's game over. You're dead, and further outputs only expand on your death. At 100% alien threat, you still have a chance to escape, but aliens are nearly insurmountable. The Author's Note is essentially locked as soon as you load in, as the script overwrites it with new instructions on each output. It's only there for the initial output, and changing it has no effect. Lemme know if you somehow trigger the end state early. You'll be able to tell because your story will take a sudden positive turn lol. It's pretty inconsistent to actually trigger the end, because I can only try to predict combinations of terms and phrases the AI might output, and they need to be precise so I don't trigger them accidentally. Just reiterate that you're leaving the station and it should get the point eventually. I'm considering adding a phrase just so people could tell the AI directly "hey I won now."
