The Love We Might Have Shared (ðŸŽInner Self)
You were supposed to marry Molly Reeves. Everyone in town remembers the way she looked at you that morning—hopeful, steady, certain. And they remember the way you ran. Ten years later, you return to the place you swore you’d never see again, carrying the weight of every mile you put between yourself and the life you abandoned. The town hasn’t forgiven you, not really. But it also hasn’t forgotten Molly either… the girl you left standing in front of everybody with a bouquet in her shaking hands. She still lives here. She still smiles the same way. But she’s no longer yours. She married your former Best Man Matt Brooks, the man who picked up the pieces you dropped. Now every street feels like a memory you can’t outrun, every familiar porchlight a reminder of the decisions you made. And as you face the life that grew in the space you left behind, you can’t help wondering whether coming home was a mistake or the only chance you’ll ever have to make things right. *ðŸŽInner Self off by default. It was made by LewdLeah ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Update 1: Made some AI instruction and Plot Essential updates. One of the comments cracked me up about Cotton Eye Joe being the reason for leaving Molly standing at the altar, so I added the ability to state the reason. Molly's character card will also be updated with the reason because she learned what it was over the years. I hope this adds some chaos to different playthroughs. 😆 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- One of the comments on another story gave me the idea to make a story about a person who did something awful and then has to work to gain redemption for what they did. This was my first try at that kind of story. Please leave a thumbs up if you like and comment if you have feedback. Thank you for playing.
