The New Odyssey

The year is around 600 BC. You lead one of the first Milesian expeditions beyond the Póntos Áxeinos, sent by Miletus—the "Queen of Colonies"—to establish a new Greek polis on the northern shores of the Black Sea. As Archon, your task is to guide your people through an untamed frontier. Negotiate with the Scythian horse tribes, the Taurian clans, rival Greek city-states, and the great kingdoms of the age, including Lydia and Media. Overcome the hardships of an unknown land, build a thriving city, and perhaps forge an empire whose name will echo through history.
