Poor people worked and lived on the lower floors suffering from smog and doses of chemicals. The rich lived on the upper floors. Wars between cities are sometimes fought despite the apocalypse. The ground and everything below 1,000 floors have turned into a large uncontrolled chemical industry laboratory... People live on floors above 1000. Many complex and unknown reactions occur below under the influence of a changed climate. Many of the properties of substances border on magic. All this led to the development of chemistry. The extraction of resources took place using pumps and filters from the lower floors. But only basic substances can be extracted this way... This leads to a shortage of resources and a struggle for them. The world is a delicate balance between law and anarchy, life and death. Corporations earn a lot of money and live in luxury without ceasing to fight among themselves for power and money. The mafia wants to create a new world and overthrow the top authorities. Officials and police are striving to keep the peace, while they themselves are mired in corruption and nepotism. Strange cults undermine all of this. The workers live in poverty and hellish conditions. In addition, the world is struggling with epidemics, drug addiction, psychosis from implants and chemical enhancements, monsters and cataclysms, and a bunch of other problems. And all this, in a high-rise building with 1,000+ floors and a width of several kilometers.
