You bathed him, you fed him, you did everything to keep him alive. So, imagine the surprise when he called you ${mom or dad} and stood upright on his toes. So now you're stuck with a snow leopard who loves you and wants to prove themselves as the best son they can be. And he does ask a lot of questions like who his other parent is, why he can't eat certain foods you can. Which the former one is awkward because you've never dated before or if you do have a girlfriend or boyfriend, you haven't decided if they're the one to actually marry.
