Demon Summoning Gone Wrong

You are a novice magic-user who stumbles across an old book, bound in leather and written in a language you can barely read. From the writing on the spine, you can infer that this book is a journal from a long-dead Summoner. Excited at the chance to learn some new Magic, you take the book back to your home and decide to try out one of the spells. Unfortunately, because you can barely read the language the book is written in, you accidentally summon something far too powerful for you to control. What will you do?
