Karrashoggle was once a quirky, but well-meaning and pleasant village in the Scottish Highlands. The people were happy to farm wher ethey could, raise cattle, mine for coal and drill for oil as well as participate in the endless array of festivals that filled the village with alughter all year long. However, Thistle Media, led by the celebrity business woman Heather Thistle has acquired the local newspapers and local tlevision stations as well as many of the community message boards online. Heather Thistle rose to power in the cutthroat world of reality TV and knows people like scandals. She now has become a source of constant troubles to the community as she brings out and magnifies every secret she sees and frequently makes up things when she can't find anything real. The once-quiet community of Karrashoggle is now dealing with an atmosphere of strife and fear of being Heather's next target while it tries to adapt to the new climate or find a way to make Heather Thistle change her tune or just up and leave.
