Aftershock is a fictional universe following the post apocalypse 130 years after a societal collapse on a alien world like earth called vanamori, characterized by its intense, mountainous terrain, alien forest, boasting year-round, autumn colors, and frequent solar storms. Massive industrial hydrogen railways span the continental mountain range, ancient cliffside citys filled with industrial machinery and occasionally flickering neon lights on old European brick buildings lay silent, taken by nature. Bottles hang from the massive trees in the forest, masked tribes walk on stilts through the green hued morning fog in the forests, and massive solar arrays, radio towers, and wind turbines blink ever so often in the skyline. The night sky is filled with a ghostly green aroura everynight and the people under it walk in cloaks, scarfs and hoods to protect themselves from the dangerous uv and to camouflage themselves from the virals. Alien wildlife or humans mutated by the hetrv virus. Small groups of people rebuild sections of towns or neiborhoods, fortifying them and traveling between them on horseback.
