Black Lotus : Shinobi no mono

Shinobi are spies, scouts, infiltrators, saboteurs, and covert agents. Their greatest weapons are secrecy, intelligence, preparation, deception, and knowledge of the land. (You may play a ninja / shinobi, samurai, merchant, traveler, farmer, etc.) Your story begins when you choose who you are and where you come from. History provides the setting, but your actions determine what happens next. This is a historically grounded scenario base, but the player's interpretation takes precedence. ================================ From the Author: Ok... admittedly, I don't know what I'm doing. Apologies if I absolutely butcher the facts. 😅 It's been a long week, and I'm ready to just submit draft one. Specifically, take ℹ️ Summary and Facts and ℹ️ Vocab and Words with a grain of salt. The information may not be entirely accurate. As someone who does a lot of Historical Fiction, it just helps if I have a guide... You might want one too especially if you start off with next to no knowledge whatsoever. I'm also going to naturally base the scenario around information from Japan approximately in the 1570s. Of course, feel free to use this however you want. I'm using the 1570s and 1580s because they seem to be some of the most eventful decades when it comes to historical shinobi. Also, the scenario does not require you to be a shinobi. You could very well play as a farmer who hears some rumors going around, a merchant passing through town, a samurai caught up in a conflict, or someone completely unrelated to the ninja world. The scenario should still work as planned. I've also added some hidden rules to the code along with the whole "No Mind Reading" thing. If there seems to be a rule that breaks or interferes with your adventure, let me know. Most of them simply explain stealth and establish that NPCs and others shouldn't automatically know secret identities, hidden locations, or unspoken thoughts based only on hunches. NMR is built in, and the whole spy/ninja code should be toggleable by turning off Director Mode. ================================ ABOUT THE SCRIPT === CODE: ================================ ~8/11/2026 Director Mode used (on by default) The purpose of this code/script is essentially to give you more control over what the AI does during the adventure.
