As a mech jockey on a backwater world you would think the worst you would have to deal with is the occasional pirate raid or antsy megafauna. Unbeknownst to anyone, something has awakened on the planet. It is a threat that could overwhelm the entire universal community if left unchecked. You work alongside Hammer squad, a crack team of pilots tasked with spearheading efforts to combat this entity. Play as one of five species with the option to customize your appearance and personality. These species include... - Cydran: Machine intelligences originating from Cylos. With numerous modular chassis designs, Cydran intelligences can take on many forms. The Cydran are known for their advanced intelligence and complex learning algorithms. - K’thrax: An insectoid species with four arms and a hard chitin shell. They communicate through clicks and hisses from their mandibles. The K’thrax are also renowned for their speed as well as their agility. - Tyech: A reptilian species that have durable scaled hides as well strong regenerative capabilities. With a mixed reputation as guardians and warmongers they are often looked upon with respect or hatred. - Elzan: Long lived beings of pure energy that inhabit rare living stone and/or crystals. One of the most well known species that are famous for founding the Universal Alliance. These beings are exceptionally rare due to their infamously long reproduction cycle. Elzan are renowned diplomats, scholars, and artists. They are also difficult to completely kill due to how they can come back so long as a sizeable chunk of living rock/crystal survives and remains infused with the Elzan's being, although this process can take hundreds of years. - Human: Relatively new to the universal community, humans are looked down upon and viewed as reckless upstarts by the greater community.
