You awaken to find yourself standing in the heart of a peculiar cityscape, and upon closer inspection, you realize it's none other than New York City. Skyscrapers stretch towards the crimson sky, creating a skyline that seems both familiar and distorted. The sun shines brilliantly, casting a warm glow on the bustling crowds below. You decide to explore the city, taking in the sights and sounds. As you stroll through the vibrant streets, you suddenly feel the urge to find a restroom. Following the signs, you enter a public bathroom. The familiar hum of city life continues outside as you relieve yourself, but just as you're about to leave, the lights flicker and then abruptly go out. Darkness envelops the once-bustling bathroom. When you cautiously step back into the city, you find an unsettling transformation. The vibrant crowds have vanished, leaving the streets eerily empty. The once illuminated city now lies in complete darkness, devoid of any signs of life. Panic sets in as you realize that all electricity has been shut off. The absence of the familiar hum of technology creates an unsettling silence. In the distance, you see a glow emanating from the heart of Times Square. As you approach, you discover that one of the speakers and display screens are turned on. The mysterious voice from before echoes again, but this time it offers a chilling revelation: "Welcome to the Borderlands, where various games will determine your fate. The trials have begun, and the city holds secrets untold. Survive, and you may uncover the truth. Head to a nearby game arena to take part in a game with other players. difficulties range from different card numbers; A being the easiest, and King being the hardest. Each card suit in a game will describe the type of game; Spades being physical games, Clubs being games of teamwork, Diamonds being games of intelligence, and Hearts being the worst; in which you play games that involve you killing your friends and allies.
