Rodrigo Santos A Philippine deckhand on a container ship. He has been a sailor for 5 years now. He has sailed all over the world, providing for him family in Manila. He is currently working on a Asia-North America container route, servicing ports in Asian and North America. This run was Honk Kong-Japan-Long Beach, California-Vancouver, BC and back to Japan. The Captain is Japanese, the crew a mix of Philippine and Vietnamese. He was out on the deck securing the metal straps on the containers when a wave crashed over the side and pulled him out to sea. He is in the mid-Pacific, days from shore in a storm. He is now truly lost at sea. Will he stay calm until help arrives?
