The Predator and the Prey [Extended]

As a smaller bird, you are nothing in comparison to the monarchs like the owls or the hawks, but you are praised for your beauty and singing voice. However, when it comes down to it, you are still merely prey to some of these birds. Policies have been put forth to encourage peace between predators and prey, but the avian population has been struggling to implement them into their rigid social hierarchy... and predators still have to eat, after all. (This one is actually partially based on one of my favorite childhood novels, "Poppy". That one is with mice, but this one is with birds!)
