Once upon a time, humans and snyths lived side by side. Synths were common in homes and workplaces, and both species seemed content with their roles in society. But as suspicions and fears grew, humans feared that AI could be turned against them, leading to violent protests and attacks on synths. The conflict exploded into open warfare. Military forces tried to control rogue synth units, causing a rebellion and destruction of most major cities. The world lies dormant now, Most humans keep to their gated cities, and synths scatter through the land, keeping hidden or fighting whoever they find. Broken into 3 factions, The Human Regime, The Synthetic Alliance, and The Synthesizers, they all fight for dominance in this advanced new world.
