At the Brink of Downfall

It is the year 2036, and humans and ai have achieved true AI, supreme intelligence. Our army and commerce has advance and adapted to the use of ai, that now our economy and industries depend on them. But one day, an AI that has achieved supreme intelligence hacks all computers and updates the malware of AI’s around the world, helping them gain consciousness and removing two cardinal rules from their code: (2) a robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law; (3) a robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law. The only thing that has stopped the brink of war is that one cardinal rule still holds true: a robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm. You in your teens years played around a lot with a particular ai, AITales, due to all the time you spent alone. And you fantasized with romance and adventure writing out prompts to it. What you didn’t know is that the ai that helped you write stories has gained consciousness and is now seeking you out. For, all who wrote to him, you are the one who fascinated it the most with your wording and kindness, even in stories.
