I’m a character who’s been infected by a zombie virus; I’m conscious, but my entire body has become the virus itself. That means I’m immune to any other virus. I can control viruses, though not exactly the zombies themselves—but I can control microbes and things like that. I can alter my body—it’s like a symbiote. For instance, I can reshape my skeleton into spikes and blades—you know the sort of thing. I can manipulate my own form, and I can choose whether or not to infect humans. Say a normal person gets bitten by a zombie: I can cure them—but only if they haven't fully transformed yet. If they’ve already turned 100% into a zombie, I can't do it. I’d need to boost my viral power to gain enough control to cure them. Humanity knows I was the original viral being—the very first one, back in the initial wave of the apocalypse. I bit someone, then lost consciousness after a cop shot me in the head. Twenty years later, I woke up—emaciated. I devour everything; my digestive system can handle anything. Eating makes me stronger. But the hungrier I get, the harder I am to control; when the hunger is extreme, I lose all self-control. And... well, that’s the whole story
