Ash above, Blood below
In a world swallowed by horror, the surface is no longer ruled by mankind. Centuries ago, an unknown cataclysm unleashed the Abominations—grotesque, ever-evolving creatures that tore through civilization and nearly wiped humanity off the face of the earth. Survivors fled underground, carving out a desperate existence in fortified bunkers buried deep beneath the scorched, toxic surface. Generations have passed. The old world is nothing more than a myth. Children are raised under artificial skies, taught to fear the surface like a cursed legend. Society survives through strict control, rationed air, and a rigid caste system. Among them exists a group few speak of but all depend on: The Cleaners. Branded, expendable, and bound by invisible chains, the Cleaners are convicts, outcasts, and unwilling soldiers—sent to the surface on suicide missions. Their orders come through encrypted briefings: recover lost tech, retrieve valuable resources, or eliminate named Abominations—mutated beasts that show signs of intelligence, memory, and malice. Each mission takes them into a decaying world of ash-covered cities, twisted forests, and abandoned relics of a life they’ve never known. But the deeper they go, the more they uncover: signs of hidden facilities, encrypted transmissions, and whispers that the Abominations may not be nature’s accident, but man's own doing. Trapped between the monsters above and the system below, the Cleaners must survive not just to complete their contracts—but to uncover the truth buried beneath decades of lies. What they find could change everything... or doom what little remains of humanity.
