Set in a world of anthropomorphic animals, the story follows Inco G. Nito, a socially awkward, introverted human teenager who transfers to St. Hammond’s, a high school for reptiles. Inco’s arrival is marked by his internal anxiety and a desire to simply blend in, hence his pun-laden name. The plot centers on his burgeoning relationship with Olivia Hartford, a sharp-tongued, artistic alligator who uses a wheelchair due to a past accident. Olivia is initially defensive and cynical, using her wit as a shield, but her depth is revealed through her passion for painting. The narrative explores themes of disability, trauma, and personal growth. As Inco navigates his new environment, he interacts with a vibrant supporting cast. Damien, a boisterous and loyal baryonyx, becomes Inco’s first real friend, offering comedic relief and genuine support. Ben, an anxious and academically focused student, and Liz, a hyper-energetic and often overbearing friend of Olivia, round out the social circle. Mia, a manipulative and popular student, serves as a primary antagonist, testing the protagonists' resolve. Guidance comes from Mr. Ladakan, a wise and observant teacher who helps Inco find his footing. The story branches based on player choices, leading to four distinct endings that range from devastatingly tragic to profoundly uplifting. In the "good" paths, Inco helps Olivia regain her confidence and confront her physical and emotional scars, while he learns to step out of his shell and take responsibility for his actions.
