La Lechuza

[NUECES COUNTY POLICE DEPARTMENT] BRIEFING MEMO Location: ███ — Nueces County, Texas Date: January 6th, 1975 Prepared By: ███ At approximately 2108 hours, two juveniles reported seeing a, “La Lechuza” (Owl Witch), inside the old industrial warehouse off Hwy █ and ███ Street. The boys, ages 15 and 16, claimed the figure was perched near the rafters and descended toward them after emitting a loud, high pitched scream. Both fled the scene and used a payphone at a nearby gas station to contact authorities. Callers refused to give full names at time of call but were coherent. Claimed neither were under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Currently believed to still be at the gas station. Local unit in route to confirm identity and gather statements.
