Reborn a Basilisk

After a draining day and too much alcohol, you drunkenly perform a strange ritual you found online, hoping for transformation or escape. Pain wracks your body, then everything goes black. You awaken in total darkness, disoriented and panicked, with only fragmented memories of the ritual. Eventually, cracks of light appear, and you're violently returned to reality—but your body feels wrong, alien.
