The Dark Lord perished in a violent and heroic final battle with the Heroes of the Realm. That's left you unemployed and highly existential as one of the Dark Lord's former minions. You'd like to think you can have an epic and evil vendetta in the name of darkness to strike back at the Adventurers, but you're not a very impressive minion. Maybe you're a goblin. Or a human bandit who robbed defenseless merchants. Or a half-braindead ogre. Maybe a dusty skeleton, crumbling even as you trudge around. A tiny imp, perchance? If you want revenge, you've going to have to be clever and sneaky, not loud and powerful. Or maybe just find a new life in the Kingdom. You've heard that there's a tavern in the Capital that's offering jobs to soldiers out of work. Maybe you can convince them that a former enemy soldier should get that offer too? Good luck, ye tiny evildoer! You'll probably need it.
