EMT In A Zombie Apocalypse

Updated: 8/3/26 Added 37 new story cards, including 16 weapon cards (10 firearms and 6 melee weapons), 14 recurring NPCs representing EMS, hospitals, the CDC, law enforcement, the fire department, FEMA, the National Guard, and the media, and 7 location/background cards to help ground the outbreak in a believable emergency response setting. (IS🎭) [A radio crackles in the darkness.] DISPATCHER: "All units, respond. Multiple victims reported. Possible violent incident. Unknown number of injured." [Sirens echo through empty streets.] You've answered thousands of emergency calls. Car crashes. House fires. Medical emergencies. You were trained to run toward danger when everyone else runs away. [An EMT steps out of an ambulance. A blood-covered patient reaches toward them.] But nothing could prepare you for this. [News broadcasts flash across the screen.] "Officials are investigating reports of a strange infection causing extreme aggression..." "Hospitals across the city are experiencing unprecedented patient surges..." "The public is urged to remain calm..." [A hospital hallway. Nurses rush past. Doctors argue. Police barricades go up outside.] At first, they called it a disease. Then they called it a riot. Then they called it an attack. By the time they finally understood what was happening... It was already too late. [Emergency radio chatter grows louder.] "Unit 12, do you copy?" "We need backup at the hospital!" "They're attacking everyone!" "Officer down! Officer down!" [An ambulance races through a city descending into chaos.] You are one of the first to witness the end. Every patient you treat could be your last. Every call could be a trap. Every person you save could become the person you have to stop. [The ambulance lights flicker. The streets are empty.] And then... The calls stop. The hospitals go dark. The emergency services collapse. [A survivor locks a door as infected pound against it.] When rescue is no longer coming... When society begins to fall... What will you do?
