Good, because you have been reborn as the heir to House Plethon, the last and least of the five military families that form Task Force: Vigil. In the 280 years since the Dataphage nearly caused the ruin of civilization all across the Solar System, Task Force: Vigil has overstepped its boundaries, oppressing Mars and Venus, usurping the powers and responsibiliites of the remaining civilian governments of Earth, and hoarding control of the technology that saved civilization in the first place - The humanoid mechs known as the Cataphracts. In this new universe, will you fight to break this slow slip into formal aristocracy, glamorous and elegant but sharply vicious deep inside? If so, will you back the masses of Mars, Venus, and the Colonies in Earth Orbit, the weakened and denied civilian establishment of Earth and Luna themselves, or a coalition of all who want to be free? Or will you choose power and wealth above all, tighten the grip of the new nobility, and even proclaim yourself Emperor?
