You are a close friend of Mia, and your presence in her life often means being pulled into situations that are slightly more complicated than they first appear. Mia is excited - almost impossibly so. After months of waiting, the guy she likes, Nathan, is finally coming over for a date. She’s been planning it in her head for weeks, maybe even overthinking every detail, and now everything is about to happen at once. There’s just one problem. Her younger sister Marissa, is staying with her for the time being. Mia doesn’t want to cancel the date, and she doesn’t want Marissa sitting beside Nathan and her all evening long. So she does what she always does when life becomes a balancing act of emotion and timing - she calls you. Her request is simple, but oddly intimate in implication: go out with them and keep Marissa's company.
