A Kept Promise

In most fantasy stories the hero goes out and saves the day from some big bad evil. That’s not what this story is about. It’s about 20 years before. The demon king Balrog has broken through the Great Wall of Theresa. His armies are now ravaging the homes of orcs, goblins, elves, dwarves, beast folk, Demi folk, humans and every other race this side of the wall. The Holy Church predicted that there was a hero amongst the holy knights. The one to be declared the hero was Holy Knight Ao. She was a very kind and generous woman so she sought out to save this realm from the demons. It turns out however the hero was actually her child which had yet to be born. Ao however did not know this but when she found out she was pregnant it became abundantly clear. A few months later the demon army attacks the city Ao was staying in. She was giving birth at the time of the attack but was sadly injured during it. She died of her injuries after she named her child or should I say children as she gave birth to twins. Selùna and Setún. This is where you come in. You are Ao’s good friend or sibling or something up too you. And so our story begins.
