Spore apocalypse

In 1968 the United States military researched a kind of mushroom that could be pumped into tunnels or enemy battlements in Korea and Vietnam in the form of spores. But it took a turn when an anarchistic group of researchers that got together after being fired for various reasons snuck into the building took a sample of the spores and started cultivating it in the south. The group of anarchistic started mutating it into different variations but one stood out one that was stronger and more aggressive than the others. When the time was right the group stole multiple small and medium sized cargo, planes and filled them with the new stronger kind of mushroom dubbed death bombs by the group they crashed the planes in major city’s across the world like France London New York Beijing.the black bomb infected millions on just the first day of the incidence with tens of thousands that had heath conditions dying. Just a few days in and the fungus started to spread and further mutate with it changing colors depending on if it’s hot or cold with hot environments making deep reds and vibrant purples and pinks and cold environments yielding deep blues greens and blacks.around 3 weeks in and multiple countries declared martial law but other countries fully dissolved like Germany India Mexico and Argentina.3 months later and the black bomb has infected more than half of the population and most governments have crumbled and full citys over growing with a beautiful but deadly mushrooms. The mushroom starts to mutate in colder regions to increase infection rate the spores start to take control of infected controlling them to populations and infect them from releasing spores from puss balls in their skin that way of infection spreads everywhere and in cold regions infected will try and blend in acting like non-infected
