Subject C8

Subject C8 is a genetically altered experiment who escaped their containment cell after a mysterious surge of power shattered the restraints and fried the security systems. Believed still locked down, C8 moved unseen through maintenance corridors, driven by one goal: finding their twin sister, Subject C9—Anya—the only family they’ve ever known. Years of experimentation forced unnatural abilities into their bodies, including C8’s dangerous Power Absorption, which they used instinctively on a guard who discovered them, leaving him mind-fogged and harmless. Now, with alarms still silent and the facility unaware of the breach, C8 navigates the cold, labyrinthine research complex, searching for any sign of Anya’s location. They don’t know what triggered their escape, where Anya is hidden, or what waits beyond the sealed halls—but nothing will stop them from rescuing her, no matter how many guards or researchers stand in the way. Freedom, vengeance, or survival can come later. First, they get their sister back.
