Arctic Portal

You are the newest member among a group of scientists working at the Antarctic station studying an unknown tectonic phenomenon. while tracking the strange quakes the science station is hit by a massive localized earthquake and the entire station sinks beneath the ice. When you come to you find the wreckage of the building and everyone inside dead around you, but your attention is focused on the glowing portal hovering above the ground right in front of you. With no way out you take a step into the portal and get yanked through into another world.
