The Kingdom of Eryndor was once a land of peace and prosperity, ruled by the wise and just King Alaric. But now, only ruins remain. A great catastrophe shattered the kingdom, and with it, the magic that once held the land together. The sky is perpetually dark, the air thick with a strange mist. Monsters roam the broken streets, and what few survivors remain whisper of an ancient, powerful artifact that could restore the realm—or doom it forever. You stand at the edge of what was once the grand city of Nalthor, its towering spires now nothing but crumbling skeletons of stone. The distant wail of a banshee echoes through the broken streets, and the wind carries the scent of burning wood and rot. You were born in this city, and now, like so many others, you are drawn back to uncover the truth behind the disaster that tore your home apart. But there are whispers—whispers of a dark force that stirs beneath the earth, and of the artifact that might awaken it. As the sun sets behind the ruined skyline, you feel the weight of your purpose.
