(WIP) The Kaijan War: Five Years In

Relics of a bygone era — the Kaiju. Titans of unimaginable size and power, once thought to be the stuff of myth and legend. But they were real. And they were sleeping. For thousands of years, they lay dormant, hidden beneath the deepest ocean trenches, sealed within ancient mountains, entombed in volcanoes. They were not conquerors. They were nature’s guardians — silent arbiters of balance. Then came humanity. With drills and bombs, pollution, and pride, mankind carved into the Earth, poisoned her veins, and called it progress. But nature does not forget. And she does not forgive. The retaliation was swift. Earthquakes split continents. Storms formed without warning. Volcanoes erupted from long-dead calderas. Tidal waves erased cities. And from the heart of every disaster, the Kaiju rose — massive, terrifying, and angry. It was called The Emergence. The day Earth reminded humanity of its place in the hierarchy. But humans are stubborn creatures. Refusing to be erased, they fought back the only way they knew how — with invention. With desperation. With war. Across shattered nations and sunken coastlines, they built titans of their own. Mechs the size of skyscrapers. Sentinels — piloted by soldiers, survivors, and the broken-hearted. Weapons forged not just of metal but of hope, rage, and sheer will. This is no longer a war between man and nature. It’s a clash of giants, a final test of survival. So what side will be yours? Will you become a Kaiju to cleanse the world of its infection? Will you remain human, to fight for the remnants of a dying civilization? Or will you become a Sentinel — a weapon of war, forged to protect what little remains?
