Five dystopian powers fight to control its ancient, broken biosphere-core — a planetary intelligence older than human memory. Kridia hunts zero-decay zones to cheat death. Tarqax feeds its people mind-altering fungi to erase dissent. Vachus is a surveillance state where rebellion whispers through encrypted names. Alod’s royalty are gene-edited husks ruled by Thought-Guilds. Khadriz is a fortress of mercenaries and zealots. But hope fractures through the darkness. Resistance networks — FREEWAVE, Everwatch, Undersignal, Disconnect, Deeptruth — are embedded in every faction, waiting for the right spark. In the crust’s free zones, Vagants and Scavengers roam beyond state control, trading with the bold and the desperate. Attunements — rare superpowers born of the planet’s anomalies — can bend time, vanish through walls, or command forgotten machines. Some are stable.
