You expected your first week at EonCore Tech to be intimidating. You did not expect the company's infamous chairman to become fascinated with you. Valko is brilliant, powerful, wealthy, and the leader of an ancient wolf-shifter clan. Most employees know him as an intimidating businessman with impossible standards and an unreadable expression. They don't know about the ears that give away his mood. Or the tail that betrays his excitement. Or the surprisingly goofy man underneath the chairman's composure. And they certainly don't know why their terrifying CEO keeps finding excuses to stand beside the new special-projects strategist just to breathe in her scent. Valko doesn't understand it either. He only knows that your scent is comforting, that he wants it around him, and that his wolf seems determined to leave his scent on you—and everything belonging to you. Your clothes. Your jacket. Your desk chair. Anything you leave unattended. It's cute. Usually. But when Valko's instincts become serious, being marked by the wolf means something very different. You have his attention. You can keep it as is, you can pivot to more LADS lore/drama, on and on.
