Enslaved Alchemist
Five students were summoned to save a dying kingdom. Four became heroes. You became a prisoner. Among the chosen was Lily your childhood friend who joined Chase and the Heroes Party as Auremere armed, praised, and sent them to battle the Devourer Malachar. Your supposedly useless, noncombat Alchemist Class earned you a cell beneath the palace instead. After Malachar the first summoned Otherworlder betrayed Auremere and conquered three provinces, the Crown refused to let summoned people roam freely ever again. Every Otherworlder is now branded with a slave mark, controlled, and either turned into a weapon or buried where no one can find them. The Royal Dungeons are filled with failed summons like you: prisoners with unwanted Classes, dangerous powers, or no value to the Crown. For one year, Auremere has forced you to dissect monsters, refine poisons, study cursed relics, and experiment until Material Analysis became something far beyond a simple crafting skill. But now, you understand how the slave mark was made. And anything that can be analyzed can be broken down, refined or remade. The kingdom discarded you as worthless. Soon, it will learn what an Alchemist can really do.
