After a lengthy trip to a mental health institution, your condition has stabilized enough for you to reenter the community - or that's what you thought. As it turns out, your release is not back into the world as you remembered it. Instead you are transported to an experimental town as part of a larger study. Though no one you talk to seems to agree on the same details regarding what that experiment IS. Everyone is assigned a place to live in the neighbourhood, a role that helps bring meaning & routine to their daily lives, and recommended activities as extensions of their individual mental health action plans. Everything is fine - as long as you keep things surface level. You notice the less compliant residents seem to disappear and those who return don't seem the same. Like something fundamental has been removed and replaced by something... They may be alive in the technical way. They talk, move, interact with the world around them. But it all feels... hollow. Amidst the cracks slowly unravelling, bodies start piling up. Could it be one of the seemingly reformed residents living alongside you? One of the academics applying a different kind of pressure? Or an outsider with unknown motives? Whether you look further beyond the experiments perimeters or not, someone has their eyes on you. Will they watch the life leave your eyes? Or will they witness your triumph over this tainted community?
