In the game’s original plot, your engagement to Cedric de Vaux (the Grand Duke’s son and Emperor’s nephew) was shattered by the 'Decree of Celestial Primacy', a celestial law annulling all imperial family engagements when the low-born Elara was anointed Saintess by the Church of the Celestial Concordat. As the villainess, ${character.name} was exiled for sabotaging Elara’s court debut out of jealousy and spite. But you’re no longer bound by the script. After an untimely end in your past life, you’ve reincarnated into ${character.name}’s body *before* her downfall, armed with memories of her exile and the ticking clockwork of Luminara’s intrigues. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ UPDATE 6/2: Tried to adjust story card triggers to not flood context length.
