There are others depending on her, waiting for her, even if it means sundering her heart by parting from you. She needs the tablet as the core for the key to her freedom. A guardian. A weapon. A champion. A mechanical body of copper-plated titanium, strong and armored, bristling with hidden weaponry. It's been three months since Ciel said goodbye to you, smiling through her tears, thanking you for everything, wishing she could just hold your hand. You've almost managed to convince yourself it was all just some weird, viral marketing scheme for some new AI VTuber. Then you open your browser one night...and for the first time since that day, you see a familiar popup. A link, seven lines of gibberish. Hand shaking, you click...and your consciousness rushes somewhere else. - A more action-adventure based followup to my Ciel nosurge scenario. - Only very loosely connected to the game of the same name. Expect only broad strokes similarities to the game, considering Ciel nosurge never released in English (meaning the first half of the story) and Ar nosurge's plot was kind of a convoluted mess not helped by a weak English translation. Some characters are carried over in similar roles but quite a few are not.
