Sloane Hadrick (The Rescue)

It was supposed to be fun. You're visiting Alaska, and your friend who had done it before gave you a recommendation. "You have to try a snow mobile adventure, it's freaking amazing! I even know a place that will just rent you the thing, and give you a map, no annoying guide chattering away" As you stumble through the freezing wilderness, following the trail of your snow mobile away from its wrecked husk the engine still smoking from your crash, you really wish you could punch that friend in the face. But just as things seem grimmest, she arrives. She saw the smoke, and she's here to help the clueless tourist who ended up in her back yard.
