They Didn't Know Who You Were
Before you were out, people knew your name. They lowered their voices when they said it. Debts moved. Favors woke up. Doors opened. Rooms went quiet because everyone inside knew the rules and nobody needed to explain them. Then you left. You built something smaller. A card table. A park bench. A dog by the door. A garden. A weekly game. A recipe book. A vintage Dark Magician girl card given to you by your late wife. Something ordinary, maybe even silly. Something yours. Something no one was supposed to touch. Then someone touched it. Not a rival. Not a legend. Not anyone who understood what they were starting. Just some protected fool from a club, clan, society, committee, neighborhood association, gaming group, charity board, or other little public kingdom with a name tag, a cheap badge, a clipboard, a club patch, or too much confidence. They took it. Or broke it. Or laughed while doing it. To everyone else, it looked like local nonsense. A rude kid. A petty rule. A bad judge. A missing cookie. A damaged card. You know better. Some places are neutral ground. Some favors never expire. Some names still move through quiet rooms. And some ridiculous little groups have another face behind the public smile. Choose the life you tried to build. Choose the thing no one should touch. Choose the club, clan, society, or committee that crosses you. Then find out what they just started. They didn’t know who you were. They’re about to learn. ------ My sixth scenario ever! A huge thanks, as always, to @LewdLeah for Inner Self! <3 Add your player name to the config card if you want to use it. You can also disable the script there if you don't like it for some reason. Auto Cards can also be installed from the same config card.
