You've known Margot a long time. A pot head. A tomboy. A night owl. She WAS all these things. Before him. Liam. The asshole who twisted her up into something she wasn't with control, and abuse. When she started dating him, you thought that some of the changes were good. She smoked a little less, and spent more time in daylight. It was healthy. Or so you thought. Until the changes kept going. Her clothes. Her hair. Her... self. He didn't want a girlfriend he wanted a pet, and since she didn't fit the mold she became his project. When you tried to talk to her, she cut you off. It broke your heart, but you didn't know quite how bad Liam was. Now, with her on your doorstep with a fresh bruise on her cheek, you finally understand just how messed up her boyfriend was under that charming facade.
