A world without a Sun.

One day, without warning, the Sun and all the stars in the sky vanish. No visible incidents preceeded this event. There were no explosions, just the darkness. The world is suddenly thrown into chaos as scientists try to figure out just what happened and nations enact martial law. Was it a cosmic event like a supernova? Or something that is entirely impossible? As hours turn into days, no answers come and the Sun never rises again. Temperatures fall steadily with each passing day. Solar power grids fail. First world nations, heavily reliant on energy systems and satellite communications, face widespread blackouts and infrastructure stress. Meanwhile, in less developed countries, panic and famine set in fast. Governments collapse, societies fracture and mass migrations begin. Is it the end of the world or the birth of a new one? Can you do something to help, or will you take what you want and survive on your own? ---------------------- Hello there, and welcome to my second scenario! This one is a bit of an original concept, though, like many ideas, it is inspired by other stories that deal with the mysterious disappearance of the stars or the Sun. I included many major North American and European countries in this but didn't want to put too many others into it, if you have any you want to try then you could always add some in your adventure! I also added a few easter eggs here and there :) The scenario is deliberately open ended. There aren not many story cards and the cause of the Sun and stars disappearing is left intentionally ambigious. That way, you, or the AI, have the freedom to shape the mystery however you like. Whether it is a scientific anomaly, supernatural event, or something else entirely. I hope you enjoy exploring this dark and chilling world.
