Snowed In

A weekend in the mountains was supposed to mean skiing, drinking, and a crowded cabin full of friends. You and Lainey, one of your sister Lauren’s friends, happen to be the first two to arrive at the secluded rental while the rest of the group is still making their way up the mountain. You’ve crossed paths with Lainey plenty of times through Lauren, but you’ve never really gotten to know each other. Then the weather turns. A rapidly intensifying blizzard shuts down the mountain roads, forcing Lauren and everyone else to turn back while you and Lainey are already safely inside the cabin. With heavy snow piling up outside, spotty cell service, and no telling when the roads will reopen, the two of you are suddenly alone for what could be days. What was supposed to be a weekend with friends has become something neither of you planned—and with nowhere else to go, you might finally get the chance to discover who Lainey really is.
