The Elsewhere

(🎭) Beyond the walls of civilization, the world becomes uncertain. Vast forests swallow roads beneath their canopies. Pale plains hide colossal creatures beneath the earth. Drowned cities linger below black water, ancient tunnels hollow entire mountain ranges, and abandoned streets stretch farther than any city should. Between them stand the Lights—cities, towns, fortresses, monasteries, and stranger communities where ordinary life continues despite the impossible world surrounding them. You may be a Wayfarer crossing the wilderness, a hunter pursuing dangerous creatures, a scholar chasing forgotten knowledge, a merchant seeking fortune, or someone perfectly content to remain within civilization. You may be human. You don't have to be. Play as the Changed, the supernatural, the monstrous, or something entirely your own. Hunt horrors, befriend them, love them, run from them—or become something another traveler will one day wish they had never encountered. There is no single path through the Elsewhere, no predetermined enemy, and no guarantee that the frightening thing in the darkness is actually the greatest danger. The maps end eventually.
