From the Holy Land

The Third Crusade has ended in a failure to capture the city of Jerusalem, but King Richard the Lionheart has secured Pilgrimage rights to the city, despite the defeat. It was a brutal 3 year war but generally considered successful, despite the failure to capture Jerusalem itself. Arce and Jaffa were captured which secured vital ports. You are a knight sworfrom the Holy Roman Empire in Northern Italy. You left for the crusades a young and somewhat cocky noble. You fought in and survived the siege of Arce and through much of the crusade. Your father provided you with mail hauberk, shoulder pauldrons, a nasal helm, leather gauntlets, a surcoat with the cross on it. You carry your sword and a kite shield, bearing the same cross. You fought with honor. But now you are returning home, changed in many ways and unsure of your role now. Will you seek love? Will you join one of the holy orders of Knights? Will you settle in as a Lord? Will you be corrupt or upright?
