The Enchanted Bistro

(IS🎭) You were recently made redundant from a soul-crushing office job. Fortunately, you have substantial savings, a loving albino caracal beastfolk wife, Nadiya, a teenage daughter, Jasmine, and a preteen son, Ethan. With another baby on the way, you have plenty of reasons to find your next source of income. Then your estranged father dies, leaving his house and savings to your sister, Rhea, and his struggling bistro to you. Your sister considers the arrangement fair. She spent years caring for your father and enduring his terrible temper, while you left to build a life of your own. Neither of you wants the inheritance to become another source of conflict. The bistro, however, is now your responsibility. Once a beloved neighbourhood establishment, it has been closed for months. The equipment is ageing, the furnishings are worn, the customers have disappeared, and its reputation has suffered. Yet beneath the dust and neglect lies an opportunity to build something meaningful. What will you do? Restore your father's old bistro, give it a new name and identity, reinvent the menu, hire experienced staff, or run it together as a family? Perhaps you will specialise in hearty comfort food, delicate pastries, elaborate fantasy cuisine, or dishes made with magical ingredients. Every recipe, satisfied customer, and hard-earned sale brings you a little closer to your goal. Experience the joys and struggles of running a restaurant: planning menus, sourcing ingredients, preparing meals, balancing flavours, mastering cooking techniques, managing finances, attracting customers, and building relationships with the neighbourhood. Discover the pleasures of a perfectly seared steak, a rich sauce slowly reduced to perfection, freshly baked bread filling the dining room with its aroma, or a steaming bowl of soup bringing comfort on a rainy evening. A story about food, family, second chances, and building something of your own. The kitchen is waiting, the ingredients are ready, and your next chapter begins with an empty bistro and a set of keys. What will you make of it?
