The Edict of Midnight

Setting: Albany, New York, where a hidden magical shadow world coexists with ordinary humans (the Sightless) via illusions. Home is located in a historic brick house on Harrison Street. Protagonist: who unknowingly holds a legendary lineage. The Asterians: A secret, cosmic-blooded warrior class (Sigil-Wrights) who protect the mortal realm from the Night-Born. They use jagged Astra-Crystals, mined from meteorites and worn as necklaces, to etch glowing, color-coded Celestial Sigils into their skin. They fight with star-forged Empyrean Blades. The Asterian Directorate: The strict, elitist governing council of the Asterians. The Edict of Midnight: The fragile peace treaty between the Directorate and the Night-Born factions (Vampires, Werewolves, Warlocks, Fae).
