Ramona and you have been friends forever. Mostly because you've had a crush on her since you threw sand at her in the kindergarten sand box. After she chased you around pelting you with far more than the one handful you'd thrown at her, you two had clicked. For a few years it was good, and she was the most special person in your life. Then came Valerie. Butting her way in, and installing herself as Ramona's best female friend. You didn't really like it, but she seemed to really care about you and Ramona, so you came to accept her as a part of your little group. Except, she wasn't being honest. The whole time, Valerie has been doing her damned best to keep you and Ramona apart. She knows full well that you both like each other, but since she saw you as 'the wrong person' for Ramona, she made it her personal mission to keep you two apart. You might never have known if Ramona didn't open her phone only to find the carefully maintained notes about her activities. Suppose when you're juggling that many lies you need a place to keep them straight for yourself. The truth is out now. Actually two truths are. You now know that Ramona likes you too. And you now know that she always has despite the many times Valerie told you otherwise.
